"I’ve reached the edge of what is comfortable to photograph here, I am restless making the same types of pictures … This is only the first layer, and if pictures are going to evolve, this layer needs to be peeled back to reveal something else. I guess I don’t come to this point very often because I’m always going from one place to another, like a bird skimming the surface of a pond looking for anything appetizing."
